Celso, originally from Puebla, Mexico, came to the United States when he was sixteen years old. In addition to starting work as a gardener, he immediately enrolled in classes to learn English and complete his GED. Celso had many dreams for the future and knew learning English and completing his education were essential to obtaining greater opportunities. It was also here that he met his wife, Rosa. Rosa was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and came to the United States at eighteen years old. Her first job was cleaning homes. Later on, the two combined their skills to establish their own landscaping and cleaning business, which they built from the ground up nearly fourteen years ago.

In addition to their successful business, Celso and Rosa are also the proud parents of two children Leonardo 15, and Melany Isabella 4. They take pride in being active parents, in both their children’s education and extracurricular activities. Celso and Rosa are also both highly involved with the “Fuego Nuevo De Encinitas”  a ministry of music.

In December of 2017, the couple began the process to become citizens. They took classes through NCICC  at the Solana Beach library every Wednesday night for nearly a year. After religiously attending classes, Rosa and Celso became American Citizens in October of 2018. Rosa later stated that she now hopes to bring her eighty year old mother to the States, to reunite with her family. Celso, is also proud to be an American Citizen for it now affords him more opportunities to provide for his family, and ensure them a greater future.
