Due to the high demand for legal representation and limited staff, we will no longer be able to provide Citizenship Prep Class services. Classes will be placed on hold for the time being. Additionally, we will not be taking on any new tutors and undergraduate interns. Our organization is only seeking active licensed volunteer attorneys for our volunteer attorney program and currently enrolled law students for our clerkship!

The Naturalization Test

During your naturalization interview, a USCIS officer will ask you questions about your application and background. Unless you qualify for an exemption, you are required to take a naturalization test which is made up of two components, an English test and a civics test.

During the English test, you must demonstrate an understanding of the English language, including the ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
During the civics test, you will answer important questions about American government and history.

Our citizenship prep program is intended to prepare you for the naturalization test by guiding you through key civics topics, U.S. history, and government principles. You will gain a deep understanding of the material and improve your English skills through focused reading and writing practice.
